Explore 5 woodland walks on UCD’s 133 hectare parkland campus.
This interactive map and guide will help you to enjoy over 8km of woodland paths that have been created to open up University College Dublin’s beautiful campus to a wider community.
There are 5 walks of varying lengths to choose from with each having its own unique characteristics. Along the meandering paths, walkers will pass many mature trees dating from the 18th and early 19th centuries, which complement areas of new woodland planted as part of UCD’s programme to maintain and enhance the ecological diversity of the campus for the benefit of all.
This app developed by UCD Computer Science Ciarán Ó hUallacháin details 5 individual walks, guiding you by plotting your position on an interactive map, as well as giving you details on the trees, plants and wildlife you might encounter.
